Thatched Lodge extension & refurbishment

Project Description

This project just outside of Guildford involved the construction of several fairly large extensions as well as carrying out a complete refurbishment of the existing buildings both inside and out, as well as extensive landscaping and external works. The existing Grade 2 Listed Building had been derelict for 20 years.

The infill extensions included new thatched roofs, sedum roofs, glazed links. The existing buildings were insulated and re-roofed in thatch.

There was underfloor heating throughout, air conditioning and automatic blinds to comply with the planning conditions.

It was completed mid 2014 with a final project cost of around £1.4 million.
